BLA BLA

That is one of the roads in Manila during Pacquiao's fight. Haha. NO TRAFFIC. Effing crazy.

The greatest loooove of all! (8) Theodora and I!.. I was napping haha!

This past few days I have been busy doing my research for Sociology. Ugh. I have like a week and a half til the deadline. Besides that, I need to research on game development using the C# language. I visited some and I think it's an interesting challenge. My team decided to make an RPG game, kinda turn-based with HP and MP and all that. We got the logic.. though still needs more exception handling to prevent errors hehe.

Now on to my social life, I have none. KIDDING. Haha. Well there's the summer outing on May 30th with the School of EEC here, everyone taking ECE, EE and CpE are coming. It's gonna be somewhere in Batangas :D

Short Song

Here`s the mastered version of Gimme One-Twenty.

Why the title? Well, it was just a random impromptu thing. Bryant was setting the tempo and then just when he asked what the title was, I said "Give me one twenty." So he thought that it was a title when I meant it as a tempo! But I thought it was a cool random name so there it is!

This version has Mikko singing one verse. I tried singing. I failed. HAHA.

Great Blog to Read

Finally, I'm restarting on my blogging habit. I'll try as much as to blog every week (PFFT.). Guys, I'd like to take this moment to thank Bench for my shirt, Penshoppe for my jea- ACTUALLY, to share this awesome Filipino blog: tunaynalalake.blogspot.com

Check out the ten manifestations of real men and also, posts of judging whether this celebrity is a real man or not!

So things to worry about are:

1. research paper for Sociology.
2. C# (But I love C#)
3. Missing Pacquiao's fight tomorrow.

Been playing Dawn of War 1 and yeah I'm having problems with the game freezing. I'll post my system specs next time but at the moment I only can provide the graphic card's name:

nVidia geForce 6150 SE nforce 430

Yeah I know it's pretty old. I'm planning to buy at least a geForce 8 but I saw this geForce 9 at the mall the other day. I'm worrying that it might not be compatible with my motherboard but I'll go ask. Anyone knows anything your advice would help a lot!

Brunei

Hello. Finally I got to update this blog wahahha. I have been busy going out with mi hombre(s) haha I don't know the plural to hombre. So yeah! Basically Brunei is still the same, peaceful and quiet (that's all there is to it.) but my baby is there and so are my close pals. Gadong is still the same. Gangster wannabes still look at you like they could kill. and uhhh. Yeah that would be all. WAIT. Nasi katok is still the BOMB.

Nevertheless, I have had fun a very subtle way. Like the really laid-back shit. Been very, very nocturnal, spending the whole night out with the boys. Now, I have a few more things I need to do which involves my long long long time bestfriend.

Dota here sucks and the only place you can get a really good challenge is in Rainforest. Anyways, I dont want the days to pass by quickly since I wanna maximise the peace and quiet before going to the highly busy and noisy place called Manila. Can't wait for school though! :D More DOTAAAA and BEERS.

R.I.P. Francis 'Kiko' Magalona

I know it's a little delayed but today I feel a surge of sadness after the fact that Francis M. died last March 10, 2009 from leukemia. The whole nation actually mourned. But this time, unlike many celebrity deaths that I have witnessed, his was different. People from all walks of life, the rich, the famous, the young, the old, even the ones with huge baggy shirts and long shorts came to his burial. Paid their respects, wore the FrancisM. clothes and cried.

It's crazy. I've known Francis M since I was a kid. I always looked up to him. His songs were always meaningful. His patriotism? One to admire. In fact, his clothing line- Francis M. Clothing Co.- is all about patriotism. Pinoy Pride at a whole new level.

I visited his blog at Multiply- http://francismagalona.multiply.com- and learned a lot. He fought bravely. But cancer's such a bitch.

Today, Francis taught me to be a little more patriotic than I am now.. because there is nothing scarier than a group of people fueled by patriotism. Farewell, Master Rapper Francis M.! You will be missed badly. The industry will never be the same.

Here's a song I shall leave you guys.

Edit: Francis Magalona died on March 6, thanks to janajee for the correction. I put March 10 cos something on TV about his death left a very firm print on my memory.

i love dota

I love DotA. Being at Mapua, there are only two things I look forward to- DotA time and hanging out at Mags, a pool place and bar behind school) to practise on my billiards (with friends of course. What am I? Autistic?).

I so love DotA. I never foresaw this event in my life where I will be so addicted to DotA. Sigh. It's like thirst that you can never quench. A thirst to get better, more IMBA, more meaner. You wanna go and kick as much ass as possible- pwn as many players as possible.

Everyday, I play about 1-3 hours of DotA. I play alongside friends and battle against other players in this gaming house called Forums. It is believed to be where most of the good players are. Well I dont believe so hahaha cos that's very biased. But yeah I think its a good place to try and get better because there are more people in it and almost 80% of the 200 computers in the place is being used to play DotA whereas the other 20% is for the guys who play Left 4 Dead.

Can't wait to play again in Brunei. I havent had much DotA in Brunei cos the fucking hosts wait for an hour because of the lack of players! Even in GG omfg they wait like over an hour just to get one more player in the Brunei DotA room. hahahaha. SO SAD.

Today was a completely fine day because school was alright, and I managed to answer my programming quiz without much difficulty AND I won 3 games straight of DotA at forums! :D WOO!

Also today I found out the following interesting news:

1. Paths has a new boyfriend who looks somewhat like Billy Crawford except that he's a wee bit fatter.

2. Kayz is a TOMA girl ROFL i mean she drinks now. HAHA. ALOT.

3. Never thought that putting doubt into someone's head is called 'caring'.

4. A man was shot dead (4 shots) in my neighbourhood and the scene of the crime was just a few feet away from my house here. I duno why I dont really care. hahahahaha.

5. Bryant finally grew a penis.

6. I was joking about Bryant growing a penis.

7. Actually, Bry has a new MAC! DAMN. And he can record his songs now! Wish I could own one *hint mom hint*

8. I am growing a penis.

9. I was joking.

SO ANYWAYS. To summarize this post, this post was mainly about.... DOTA. and growing penises.

HAHAHAHAHA.

I shall be heading off to bed now since I've finished 8 programs dammit! Di chuyen no goddamit! *vietnamese* My favourite being the program which finds the standard deviation of n numbers. :D goodnight lads.

#include 'iostream.h'
#include 'conio.h'
#include 'math.h'

double deviation(double [], double, double, double&);

int main()
{
clrscr();
int i, ctr, size;
double average, stddev;
double sum = 0.0;

cout << "Enter number of inputs: "; cin >> size;
double *nums = new double[size];
for ( ctr = 0; ctr <>> nums[ctr];
sum = sum + nums[ctr];
}

average = sum / size;

deviation(nums, size, average, stddev);

cout << "The standard deviation of the numbers is " << stddev << '.';

getch();
return 0;

}

double deviation(double num[], double numel, double ave, double& stddev)
{
double sumdev = 0.0;
int x;
for ( x = 0; x < numel; x++)
sumdev = sumdev + pow((num[x] - ave), 2);

stddev = sqrt (sumdev/numel);
return stddev;
}

That Kind of Desperation.

Being in the Philippines, a third-world country, one would inevitably see the ugliness of poverty. The different ways it disturbs you. It IS disturbing to see how some people carry on living in ways you've never imagined.

Every morning, when I go to school, I always past by the Manila City Hall and its this white (now they're painting it yellow) building, about 4-5 storeys high and has pipes coming from the roof and going into ground. Some of these pipes are cracked or broken in such a way that water jets out or seeps out depending on how much water is going through them. Where the water comes from, I do not know and I have no intention of finding out haha though I do have this certain curiosity to find out. Haha.

So anyways, there are these people you see whom we call 'Taong Grasa' or, if directly translated, translates to 'Grease Person'. Haha. Funny yes. But you know, its not funny when you see people, taking water bottles, and using it to collect the water flowing out of the pipes just to use 'em for bathing or drinking.

Some are even covered with grease! I don't wanna know when was the last time they had a bath.

SO I had this thought.. poverty must have pushed them such an extent where only things important to survival like food is the only thing they need.

It's crazy. Poverty here is so bad that it drives the people it strikes crazy! This morning there was this woman sitting down on the grass under a tree beside the road singing! haha.

SO anyways, I have been seriously struggling in my programming lab. Not the lecture. Sigh. There's just alot of programs to create and the professor just drops us in the warzone without teaching anything. What I mean is that he just let's us do the exercises without any hint on how to start the logic! HAHA! I hold no grudges 'cause I think it'll help me alot. Plus it feels really great when you get to finish one program knowing you did it on your own.

I made one program 2 days ago during the exam by myself! The program needed was one that would accept an integer, n, from the user ranging from 1 - 12 and output a n-th order Pascal's triangle. Eg: if you enter a number 4 the output will be a 4th order Pascal's triangle.

1
1 1
1 2 1
1 3 3 1
and those numbers are calculated from using the formula n! / k!(n-k)!.
Haha maybe you wouldn't get it but those who have binomials already in their math will know. :) It was fun. But that took me 2 or 3 hours to come up with the logic (sigh.) and I had one more program to make. SO i only got to finish 1 out of 2 programs!

Genesis

"Ooohh what a catchy title Arvy, we expect an intelligent and intellectual post for this one!"

NO.

Haha! Well, after 'years' of not posting any rants et cetera et cetera, I have finally come to find the blogging part of me and decided that the word "Genesis" would be a nice start to a series of posts by me and no, I dont have the capacity, I suppose, to write a post that would be intellectually stimulating or one that would say "I'm a smart-ass." in which, I am not. :) Also, I decided to start blogging again in order to enhance my writing skills :D

I shall say and blog about certain things that come to me from time to time during the week which is sometimes a profound discovery and most times, things which I notice in the world that we live in.

Also, there will be those random rants of my days during the course of the week and if I manage to, I'll be posting pictures like last time.

So anyways, I have recently been watching Russel Brand on Youtube and I find his humour very very very very.... funny? Haha. Well yeah. It's not just those obvious ones. He says a lot of funny things which are really true (Well, most stand-up comedians say things which are true) and spice it up with a mix of words which accurately describes the subject and facial impressions which will truly make you laugh out loud!

I personally like British comedians over the Americans (No offense. I am forever grateful for the invention of the burger.) because they are much much more interesting! I actually like Russel Brand over Russel Peters! Haha. Watch Ponderland people! and also Brand's Shame. You can find it all on Youtube.

Ricky Gervais is funny too. Haha.

On another note, I have been taking up this course called "Rizal10" and I find the subject quite an interesting one. It's about Jose Rizal, the Philippines' national hero and the greatest the Malayan race has produced. I find it interesting simply because the life he lived and his philosophies are very inspiring. Quoting from him, he said, ".. genius knows no country, genius sprouts everywhere, genius is like light, air, the patrimony of everybody, cosmopolitan like space, life-like, like God." This was a part of his speech as he praised the two geniuses Luna and Hidalgo.

To end this post, I shall share an incident that happened last January 19. We were at class and the professor became rather disappointed with the class for she was asking some people to recite their reflections on some certains in our Rizal book and could not answer to her. Dismayed, she lectured us saying she still came to class eventhough she was having vertigo and that she puked an hour before, and that she ends the class at exactly 12 noon so that we will not be short-changed. Short-changed because we pay a hefty school fee just to study there. 4000 pesos for the course actually. Anyways, she said, that it was rather us who were short-changing her since we do not even do our best in studying, thinking it is 'just an easy subject'.

I mean just read the book! Some don't even do any advance reading and thus they cannot give a reflection at all. And thus, with this, I came up with a reflection of the situation and I said to myself, "sometimes we are so lost in our own foolishness and selfishness that we forget to think of the hardships people go through to give us things that we, at times, take for granted."

I once myself hated when the some professors just keep going on and on until the exact one and a half hour duration of the class is used up and not dismissing us early, thinking that they just wanna hurry and finish one chapter but after this, who would have known that they were actually thinking about us? Did the professor even take a break before? How selfish of us to just think of ourselves!

And how selfish of the corrupt officials to take for granted the liberty Jose Rizal had given this country. Instead, this country is enslaved by corruption.

ON A HAPPY NOTE.

It's Spiderman 4 this year! Well, hopefully. Hhaha. Also Harry Potter 6 I guess. The Half-Blood Prince!

Why we love Pacquiao?

Today, December 07 of the year 2008, will be remembered as the day Manny 'Pacman' Pacquiao fought Oscar 'Golden Boy' De La Hoya!

Pacquiao, though many fell short on their faith for the Philippine's National Fist, won the fight not by his usual knockouts, but because Dela Hoya's corner threw in the towel at the start of the 9th round.

You guys should have seen it! So many awesome combinations thrown in by both boxers. There was some moments where Dela Hoya gave those sharp, powerful and quick jabs. His left hook too looked really deadly. Pacquiao on the other hand threw a barrage of combinations and punches! There was one highlight where he [Pacquiao] threw a super awesome 3 punch combo. A right hook then left jab and another right hook! Solid landing too! All on his opponent's face!

In the end Pacquiao was the better man. Dela Hoya gave a good fight in fact, I really enjoyed the whole 8 rounds of action. Dela Hoya was a tough guy to put down, considering all those punches that he took, it would have knocked out other boxers. Kudos to him! His heart must be 99 if it were Fight Night. HAHA.

Oh man and I saw Dela Hoya do his taunt move just like in Fight Night Round 3! I remembered Joey doing it too and it was so damn similiar to Joey's movement! HAHA!

"Oh yeah!"

"It's Hammer Time."

At the final weigh-in!

The height and reach difference wasn't a problem for Pacman!

Now unto my MAIIIN article..
TWO REASONS WHY I LOVE PACMAN.
1. He puts down the crime rate here to 0% just like how he put down Diaz everytime he has a match.
2. He reduces the traffic on the road by over 50% so just now my trip from Manila to Laguna took only 30 minutes. (My favourite reason hehe.)
HAHA. Awesome aye??

DRAWINGS!

WEEEE LONG HAIR :D

Engineering letterings are cool! :D Though this picture isn't the best lettering that I've done -,-

My uhh drawing classes have finally ended thus ending my late nights doing my plates and tedious measurements. Gawd I so don't like being so accurate on measurements so yeah. And the classes are so long! 4 and a half hours of drawing. and you have to be really careful of erasures and wrong measurements cos it's either gonna kill you or get you that bad failing mark of 69! HAHA. We call our prof mr. 69 cos he likes the number so much (for unknown reasons though we suspect that he is referring to his liking to the kama sutra position, 69) and yes my whole row fell victim for the number when we, during one class, received our plate that we did last week and we all got 69 T.T.. HAHA!

Note that the passing mark here is 70% . Now you guys would get an idea as to how annoyed we were getting 69. Just a point man! HAHA. SHEESH. And here are some of my plates that ive done for the past few weeks.

Orthographic drawing of a mechanical object showing the top, side and front view including the section view. Section view is on the top right. It shows the inner part of the object when you cut it in half!

Not a favourite -,- since even the shading should be really accurate.. You see the shading on the section view? They should be inclined at an angle of 45 degrees and must be 2mm apart. hahaha.

Isometric drawing! My favourite hahaha! You draw the 3D object from just looking at the orthographic diagrams provided. The circles are a bitch to draw. Since they are inclined, it's done by doing a series of measurements etc. But still the result is really cool :D I got 96 for this :D

This is the bitchiest of them all. Haha. I hate the shading part in the middle and the ellipse on the right. You cant use a compass so I had to use a french curve and estimate the right curvature. =,=

Hope this will help entertain some of you patient enough with my bloggin hahaha. ILL BE BACK in BRUNEI ON THE 14th! :D

Quick Post!

Since I don't have the time to upload photos (again) I shall share something that always interests me until now after I learnt about Vapor Pressure Lowering in Chemistry!

Vapor pressure is the pressure a gas exerts.. on something hehe. on the walls of the container.

Okay.. do you notice that whenever you buy the 500ml bottle of Coca Cola there isn't any bubbles at all or its very few when it isn't opened yet? And like when you open it there's an effervescence of bubbles and more bubbles are going to the surface already right?

WELL the culprit of those observations is the vapor pressure!

When soda is packed (bottled), the pressure INSIDE the bottle just before being opened is pretty high.. So by a general law.. the higher the pressure on top of the liquid, the more soluble the gas! (CO2 for our example) And with that, the amount of CO2 dissolved in the soda is greater than the ACTUAL amount of CO2 the soda can dissolve so we can say that it is pretty much saturated!

That is also why there is almost NO bubbles going up when u just bought the soda! Unlesss you drop it. But over time the bubbles will disappear again! Cos the pressure above the liquid is like pushing the gas down.

Then, when you open the bottle, you hear a sound (the high pressure inside escaping) and the vapor pressure over the soda decreases since pressure at sea level is about 1 atmospheric pressure OR 760 mm mercury :D Now, since the pressure decreased, the solubility of the CO2 gas in the soda decreases! So that's why you get an effervescence of bubbles! The soda can't dissolve that amount anymore so the gas goes out pretty quickly. And after a few seconds, it stops and becomes calm again and all you see are bubbles rising up from the bottom to the surface :D!

COOL EY?! just wanted to share my curiousity with all of you :D

Awesome commercials

As stated above, below (hahaha) are some awesome commercials I found while browsing around Youtube. Damn, dont you just wish most commercials here in the Philippines were as funny as this? hahaha.

I don't get how the ad has anything to do with insurance but that Adam part was as funny as hell! Hahahaha.

Here's another one:

Hahahaha! Crazy huge tummy! Oh and here's one funny video about "energy drinks" hahaha. It spoofs those commercials about energy drinks.. cos, if you noticed, they're always narrated with a voice shouting at you. Hahaha. "Man-nergy" "Abnormally Fast" "Like Kenyans" HAHAHA. The kenyans were so random! HAHAHA. Here's "Powerthirst":

HAHA. And now this next commercial always tickles my funny bone. I'm a sucker for those funny slow-motion-scenes-with-dramatic-background-music types. HAHA.

HAHAHA. Oh and this commercial here is for a language training company majigg. HAHA. Apparently the bunch don't understand English and they just nod and move along a music saying " I wanna f*** you in the ass " HAHA.

oh and there's a random commercial with Asia Agcaoili in it. anyhoos. im off. :D

CHEERS!

AT LEAST HE'S A FCUKIN CHAMP :P

Oh, and speakin' of Manny, this should interest Hals, Joey and Hafiz.. There's a exhibition match on December.. 6 i think between Manny and OSCAR DE LA HOYA!!! Shit! It's a dream match! haha. can't wait to watch it!

New post!

Heyyyyyyy there my awesome friends! :D YES. AWESOME.

Anyways, i just got back to posting because for the past week it has been 'hell' week simply because its the finals week, and the week where everything that needs to be passed NEEDS to be passed. Yeahhh catch my drift, dawg?? hehe.

There're alot of things I like about studying here in the Philippines, one would be the extra points you get in the end or like if you answer questions asked by the professor. Like me, for example(not bragging here okay?) , when we were at our last class for Chemistry 101, the prof decided to tell us our averages at the moment so we can know if we will pass the subject or not.. So, there was this point where we would get 20points if we just shut out mouths (cos we're notoriously known to be a pretty noisy class) and anyone who never gotten a LATE or an ABSENT would get another 20 points, so I bagged those and 40 more points for the questions I was able to answer impromptu. Also I was pretty much the dude who always borrows a projector and I got 20 points for that. HEHE.

I'm pretty sure it's the same thing over there in the US, ey Paths? Anyways, in the end my average turned out to be 76.91% and thats not counting the final exam that I was gonna take. Now, final exams are 25% for that coourse (Chem 101) so i just pretty much need around 90% for the final exam to get a perfect 100% average! (just multiply the final exam grade by 0.25)

Apparently when i went to check my grade yesterday at school I got a pretty meh grade of 85%.. So that's about 21% if you multiply it by 0.25. So add that to 76.91%? HUHU ITS HIGH. Now I just need similar results for my math 11 and math 12 to bag that scholarship!!!

Okay now enough math and stuff... on the last day of the term (YES I am on term break now! WEEE), my blockmates and I decided to go Mall of Asia and Star City! Star City is a cool theme park :) And I wanted to get a taste of a REAL theme park! *coughjerudongcoughcough* BUT unfortunately for us, Star City was close due to uhh renovations since it's almost Christmas (by almost, the Philippines mean 4 months in advance). So yea we returned to Mall of Asia and wasted most of the time playing games at the arcade! :D My favourite, of course would be Quantum! The credit card-like .. CARDS (yeah..anyways) save all the trouble of counting coins like baby ko said :D hehe. I played Tekken 6. Shit it's so awesome!!!!!!!!!!

Mall of Asia is pretty huge. :| jeez. There's this point where me and the guys went in circles hahahaha cos we were searching for McDonald's! We ended up going back to where we started off. hahahahahhaa Stupid ey!!!!!!!!

Oh and on a more important note, and probably the highlight of that day, we met a celebrity! Haha. There's this show on a channel here called Pinoy Dream Academy.. It's like American Idol meet Big Brother where dudes and dudettes are chosen to be 'taught' by mentors to become better singer and they battle our at the end of the week. Anyways, the celebrity we met was VANN!!!! haha. Not that I'm gay over this guy but since my cousin happened to have a HUUUUGE crush on him, I felt pretty darn lucky and plus t'was my first time to meet a damn celebrity! (Wish it was Asia, though)

Here's the picture of Van!

It's just me and my blockmates, the rest didn't notice so they continued on walking hehe. :D

So there you go, and uhhh does anyone know Coheed and Cambria? haha. its this band who, if you see a picture of them, you would expect the singer to have a husky voice but! hahaha he sounds like a girl! HAHAHA. Now don't be mistaken, this band is still awesome. Listen to Welcome Home and A Favor House Atlantic! :D

2nd Term coming soon!

It's September already and the final exams for my chemistry, algebra and plane and spherical trigonometry subjects are coming in a week. I've been scoring pretty well in the quizzes after i was able to adjust to the pace here in mapua and the style at which they ask questions, so I'm hoping to get a pretty high Quarterly Weigted Average so I can bag that scholarship.. *fingers crossed* Today I had my finals for my chemistry lab (or chem practicals in Brunei) and I got a pretty satisfying grade of 90! :D haha! not bragging here but hey, didn't I put this blog up so you friends of mine get to keep track of me? (so sorry if i dont get to update every week)

And tomoro I will be having my last quiz for algebra so after thats its one more last quiz for trigonometry! Then it's the finals. I'm still pretty much testing myself on my limits so I will know what to do next term, so if I dont get a scholarship this term, I'll probably get one after the next term.

Today wasn't much except that I went out with my blockmates to SM and watched the Tekken 6 addicts at Quantum arcade in SM Manila. Gawwd, there's this uber cute pretty girl there and her boyfriend too! AND THEY'RE BOTH DAMN GOOD. Bet she can beat the dudes there in brunei hahahah. I mean seriously, where do you see cute, female tekken 6 pros there?! HAHA.

Tekken 6 is a pretty popular game here. Well, arcade game. And PSPs here are everywhere! In my class alone there are 5 PSPs and the only game we play is tekken! AGAIN! HAHAHA. So yeah. Tekken is fun! HHAHA :D Bet Neil knows this! :D HAHAHA. RIGHT NEIL! PSPs RULE! HAHHAA.

Oh and here are some of my Taiwanese pals who I have lunch with. They're exchange students from Taiwan and are graduates of Chemical Engineering (some are already taking their Masters). They are cool dudes! HAHA. They came to Mapua cos they had a joint event with my school and what they do here is visit classes and have seminars on English cos thats the main reason why they came here. To better their English communication skills. (:

Here you see me with Isaac (purple) and Bruce (pink) and the other guy i kinda forgot his name :( BUT THEY'RE COOL! Apparently they like doing the Thumbs up pose whenever they take pictures with me as opposed to the peace sign pose when the taiwanese girls pose haha. TWO ThUMBS UP!

Jimmy and I! the tallest guy! He had to bend over to take that pic! HAHAHAHA. SHUT UP HANAH! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Before I end this post, I would like to thank the heavens, God, my baby ko Theodora Ang, and Hanah for always keeping me sane. Looking forward for more sessions online guys! :D (well its not that God has an email now but yeah..)

Sad day for us movie-goers.

If there is one voice everyone recognizes, One voice that has changed the world as we know it, it would be the voice of Don LaFontaine. The man popularly known to the kids who don't know his name as the 'movie previews guy' or 'the movie trailer guy'. This man has dubbed over 5,000 movie trailers. The most recognizable voice in the movie industry. A legend.

As some of you know, especially the movie nerds out there and the ones who have Yahoo! as their home page, news about the tragic lost of one of Hollywood's distinctive characters, Don LaFontaine, has just got out. He died on September 1, 2008 due to complications from pneumothorax, a condition where there is an accumulation of air or gas in the pleural cavity. Now, it has nothing to do with his throat and if I remember my biology (which I know I do :P haha!), the pleural cavity is the space between your lungs and your ribs.

A very sad day for me, Pablo Francisco especially, and everyone else.. I'm sure a large percentage of people might not know his name but we all, surely, know his voice. Don LaFontaine has dubbed thousands of movie trailers and has been nicknamed, 'Thunder Throat' or 'The Voice of God'. He became identified with the phrase 'In a world..', a phrase used in so many trailers that it has became a cliche.

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Pablo Francisco.

Don LaFontaine's Story: The Voice. Here he talks about his life, how *movie preview voice* everything started. Must watch if you guys haven't clicked on play on the other three thinking I'm wasting your time. :)

We will all surely miss you, Sir Don LaFontaine. :( Movie trailers will never be the same :(..

Today is the dayyy we die! I mean they, they die!

HELLO HELLO!

This week has been a pretty laid back week. AGAIN. But yeah its a bitch cos it keeps on raining here. But luckily I get to go home before the water level on the roads rise -,-

TODAY I wanna tell you about someone I wanna add in Facebook. ASIA AGCAOILI! WOO! *Standing ovation* HAHAHAHHAHA. Yes. She's damn hot. But yeah I messaged her already but still no 'add friend' button appearing yet when i click on her picture. SAD. HAHA. She's uhh Philippine's Sex Guru. I dunno about Asia as a whole but yeah.. Cos when you add the Indians you just kinda feel inferior cos well that's where Kama Sutra began right :D She pretty much is the epitome of the modern, liberated Filipina. I dunno why but that's what they say. Well I do know why but it's just so hard to describe it here. In words. HA. And also she has a radio show, well used to cos that's what I heard, where she gives tips to callers on sex. HAHAHAHAH too bad i missed that! WOULD HAVE LAUGHED WITH ALL THE QUESTIONS. "Uhm DJ Asia, I seem to have a problem locating my girlfriend's 'cave'" "Have you tried asking her to shave?" ROFL. Okay back to the topic in hand. ASIA. Yes, she also endorses a product here called Premiere Condoms. And if you check out their advertisements.. especially the arts. you will fing that they are pretty damn hot. WOO! So yeah.. Pleasee Asiaaa add me already! :D She also writes a column for FHM here. :D

Asia Agcaoili

Hmmm.. Have you ever been to an internet cafe where some people type SO LOUDLY and when they press the Enter key, they freaking bang it HARD. OMFG?! HAHA. It just annoys me! Hahah. Especially the pressing-the-enter-button-hard-cos-im-cool part. =/ like it will affect the speed at which the pc will send the data! =/ GAWH. Bet Neil knows what I'm talking about. Haha. You meet these kinds of people when they are playing this online game thing.

Oh and since im in the topic on internet cafes haha. I wanna share to you the internet cafe near my place which is also the place i go to when the internet at home isn't working. The interesting thing about that place is that you will usually see this 4 or 5 bunch of lil boys who are, apparently and most unfortunately, gay! HAhAHAHA. SO FUNNY TO SEE. They're like 12yrs old and already so soft. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

On the academic part of my life, well i just got my midterm results last saturday and yeah they're pretty good. All passed! Especially pleased with my Algebra and Trigonometry results. :D 94 and 90 respectively! :D Hoping to get that scholarship by the end of the term!

AND on the musical part! You guys should check out jazz progressions! Like the 2-5-1 prgression. well for the key of C it will be Dmin7, G7 and Cmaj7 :D well if you heard me and the band play a jazzy tune it will be those chords there. :D

I've watched Star Wars Clone Wars last Thursday and I enjoyed it bery bery much :D I like the humour with the droids haha. You guys HAVE to wwatch it if you're curious already. And Jabba the Hutt's son is so cute! HAHAHAHA.

Emo Trooper! HAHA.

Finally.

Haha yes. Finally. I get to blog. SO SORRY FRIENDS. Haha. Don't worry you haven't missed out a lot of things on me cos well nothing much happened yes. As evident from the frequency at which I blog every week, it's pretty obvious that I've been busy. Well, that's cos I usually have class til 7pm where I end up arriving at home around 9. :S

About the picture up there well yeah. I! got to experience the damn floods of Manila! It was last Thursday and it rained so damn heavily around 6pm and when I got out from class around 7pm with a friend, Ai Leen, the damn streets were flooded! LIKE OCEANS AH! CHIBAI. HAHA. The worst part when Ai Leen and I were walking towards SM Manila was when.. well, first I accidentally stepped into a pothole full of water so yeah.. so much for keeping my shoes dry. AND SOCKS :S and secondly (damn highlight of the night) was when we both realised that we can't get to the other side without walking across the flood. It was a damn trap! Like surrounded by water, man! Me and Ai Leen looked at each other and decided that yes we have to buy damn slippers. SHE GOT TO BUY A PAIR. I didnt! Cos they were all for ladies and they dont fit my damn feet. HAHA. SO yeah. We took off our shoes and socks (yes out there) and folded our jeans to the knees and boom. Crossed the damn flood. Like swimming pool lah hahahaha. The water was about half of my shin! HAHA. So yeah! Was pretty disgusting. Then I had to put on my WET shoes and yeah ride the train back to Buendia. :S

Oh and I chose that pic up there from uhh leahcute on Flickr cos I wanted to give you guys a picture of what my friends saw back at Espana a few weeks ago when it got flooded. Heres what happened : They were on the way back to school on a jeepney and then suddenly this bunch of kids hung on to the back of the jeepney and went along with it HAHA. Like surfboards! HAHAHA. SO FUNNY WHEN I FIRST IMAGINED IT. Damn and the water must have been that high for them to pull that off! HAHA.

Back to the thursday thing, well yeah, as I was on the LRT I said to myself , " This must be one of the things listed in my things-to-experience-in-Manila list." Haha. I think the next bunch would be ice skating at Mall of Asia and playing paintball at Enchanted Kingdom! Hehe. it's like so near my place. It's like Jerudong park except that its bigger, better and has regular, abundant supply of customers :D HEHE. I LOVE PAINTBALL! :D OH AND also go to a concert somewhere. Heard Avril was gonna come here. :D tickets are kinda expensive tho.. I think they're about 100 bucks. :S

Hanah and baby ko has to come here and like shop. Seriously. Glorietta is one place they'd love to visit. PATHS TOO! :D you could be my paintball buddy! :D HAHA.

This thursday I might be watching the zohan. :D WOO! i love sandler! HAHA. i know it's pretty late but yeah. Im that busy. Gawd, and i thought back in highschool that they gave too much homework. Ahh. Dont you just hate case studies? I have to make one for computer engineering class. all about ethical laws and stuff -,-

Oh and im still looking for a band here . hopefully ill get to showcase my talents at the music society concert. :D hehe. and get gigs at bars :D maybe in 2 years or so :D ahha.

Til next time! to infinty and beyond! *refers to meet the spartan fat character*

parttty!

Yesterday night I went to this party called Thursday Bounce! Apparently my friend Yvonne came here last week for vacation and her cousin was singing for this gig! So she invited me and bam! I said yes cos there were dance performaces and bands!

I arrived at the place called Harrison's plaza together with Yvonne and we were pretty much the early birds! The DJ was rehearsing his songs. So awesome. The lighting was cool too! especially where the band was playing. It was a jazzy jazzy set up!

And this wasn't the usual party cos it was a youth party organised by Victory Church. So yeah. Yvonne and I just took photos and I enjoyed the performances so so so much! I'll post up the photos here as soon as Yvonne gets to upload em somewhere on the web :D

The bands were pretty cool especially the 2nd set of songs where Yvonne's cousin, Lee, sang as front vocals. Damn he's good! I also heard from Yvonne that he was once the top 10 or 3 in a singing competition. He now sings for TV shows where songs are played.. kinda like american idol and the likes.

The band didn't really play rock but hiphop songs especially the newer ones like Chris Brown's and oh I think the best song they played was Dangerous In Love by Beyonce and Let's Get It Started by Black Eyed Peas! The crowd went crazy when they played BEP. And yeah Lee rapped the err rapping parts!

I stayed overnight at Yvonne's condo after the party. On the way home just now I realised how crappy and crazy expensive are the taxis there in bruneng HAHA. right paths! y'know what i'm saying! :D:D:D HAHA.

yvonne's condo was really nice! It was on the 32nd floor and, being that high, it had a great landscape view of the buildings and the intricate streets of Manila. Maaaaannn! I woke up and parted the curtains like how you see it in the movies and woo! Was the view spectacular o not?! I was like ' damn i love manila hahahaha. despite the snatching risks and the traffic haha. well its a good change from the quietness. hahaha.

i miss theodora ang :( Sniff! :(

right now ill be working on a special post ill be doing for someone! she complains so much so yeah that deserves to be known worldwide. HAHA. not that the world reads this but yeah. world being uhm my small circle of friends. HAH. oh and of course the photos from last night! :D

OH OH OH and theres a bar and billiards place near my school so muahahahahahha i now where to go now. well its just drinks and billiards. I usually go there with my mates to play billiards. last tuesday it was someone's birthday so there were drinks. tried not to drink too much cos i might smell like beer and i had to go back to school -,-..

i love billiards! used to be so good at it when i was a kid! will be practising more now MUAHAHAHA.

ill be off to study some math cos it's my mid-term exams since its already 1 month and a half. one term here is like 3 months.. so yeah... really need to get really high grades. ( i know right i have high goals -,- ) but yeah. really need them! :D will update when i get the photos.. or if i see something like a naked person protesting on the streets or if i catch someone having sex or something HAHAHA.

Today today today

Yesterday I went to uhm Espana. Just a short visit! But it rained and rained so I had to go under the cover of the roof of a building til it stopped after an hour! And to my surprise the street was already flooded! I mean knee-high deep! HAHA. Lucky I got on a Jeepney on one of the not-so flooded street in Espana. And when I say not so flooded its 5-cm deep.

One of the really interesting things I saw was when I got to the main street of Espana where I go to get back to Mapua. It was like driving through a river! HAHA. You can see all the waves slamming on the walls and sidewalks haha. Reminded me of how the waves in Jerudong beach slam against the rocks. Really. It was so damn flooded. Haha. It smelled too! Gawh.

Oh and usually what happens when it's raining is that more people will get on the LRT but lucky for me I got a seat on a LRT train and there wasn't much people. BUT! When I got to the bus terminal I was shocked to see that there were NO buses. And just long lines of people! I had to wait too! The reason there weren't any buses yet returning is because of the flood at Buendia.. I arrived at 6.45 and there wasn't any bus at all until 8+! So I had to stand there with my heavy bag. ITS ALL GOOD! :D:D:D at least I got to sit on the bus unlike the unfortunate ones who had to stand up the whole trip. And note that there was still traffic on the way home. Thank God! :D
I love unlimited texting here. Sigh. HAHA. Not much pictures today cos uhhh I didn't bring my other phone to Manila. Was gonna pass by Qiapo! Which is an area known to have a lot of snatchers :S :S :S..

Anyways ill be going off! Will blog on something more interesting in the following days. :D

FHM

NOTHING MUCH TODAY :D

But I did thought up of something while I was in the bus on the way to Manila. :)
I started imagining how life was for the workers who work day and night just to make a living like those tricycle dudes and the bus drivers and conductors. Sheesh. Imagine how they have to make the same trips, same duration and do it everyday of their life while working as a bus driver for example. Man.. I never thought of it while in Brunei since I didn't like the buses there 'cos they make you wait so long and are effing stinky. :P And here the buses have been nice to me, getting me to school on time ('cause they drive so effing fast on the highway). Man! And the conductor too! Standing up the whole journey and your job is just punching the tickets and giving 'em to the passengers and after that you stand up. Til you get to the terminal.

Not to mention the time at which they all wake up every morning and the ratio of the amount of work they do to the amount of money they make. This morning the bus wasn't that full (since it's a Saturday) but the bus had to go since it was time already. Poor buses. I do understand why they're so pissed off here in the Philippines 'cause the prices for almost everything is going up! Diesel is at 60 Pesos per litre! about $1.90 in Bruneian currency. How much is the pricing there again? 50 cents right? :S

Oh and another thing! The damn morning shows on GMA (a channel here) ! I don't know why they put a show talking about the different problems the Philippines is facing at 5.30AM. Gawh. I get on the bus and the first thing I hear for the day is Problems, problems, problems. :( And I know that after that show there is another one which shows different kinds of extreme sickness like a kid not having a butthole. EEW. I know i know. I'm not being mean. I do feel sympathy for the kid but hey. What can I do? I really can't take seeing stuff like that. Scary your kid might turn out that way. *knock knock knock* But at the same time I realised they do need the exposure 'cause I'm sure that out of the billions of people here in the Phils. Someone or some group will help that kid. (I just can't watch it. Makes me feel chills.)

SO ON A HAPPY NOTE. I took a couple of photos from my foreign class and my math class just now. The photos kinda piss me off cos they're so crappy in quality. SORRY PATHS. I lost the phone that had a pretty good camera :S Haih.. At least I got photos right ;) will take clearer one next week! :D Oh and another thing is uhm congratulations to Marian Rivera for being FHM Philippines #1 Sexiest on the 100 Sexiest list. But Megan Fox is #1 in the international one I think. I know this is late but it just slipped off my head last week. And no FHM is not a pornographic magazine. It's like Cosmopolitan for men. :) :) Right baby ko :D *kisses nose* :D

Math Class!

it's Argie Pogi Boy and Dean the Dean! Hahaha. Made that up. They're cool. :) We pretty much make all the laughing noise behind together with Bob. HAHA. Couldn't take a photo of Bob.

Foreign class! :D

Everyone was leaving already. The girl you see is Park Sae La or Sarah. And the dude you see is Paul! He goes the same route with me so we're good buddies!

Te Guen and I.

And and exclusive guy in my class I wanna put here is JOSE. HAHAHA. Fucking funny guy. NOT cause he makes lotsa funny jokes. It's just his face and how he talks and looks at you. He's like so stoned everytime! Hahahahah! looks like a toy actually!

JOSE WEEAK! HAHAHA. (DoTa terms haha)

That's everything for today so sorry again for the quality of the photos :D

I love Theos :) (A)

SUNDAY!

Nothing special with the title haha.

The only thing I wanna mention today is how uber pissed off I was this morning HAHA! Well I wasn't as angry as the time I went to the cafe only to sit on the station with the worst keyboard :D It's more like the I'm-soooo-stupid kind of pissed off so yeah! :D Seriouuuusssly, I thought there was class today SO I woke up at 5.15AM and went off to Manila around 6.15AM.

I brought along my other phone which had a camera (crappy though) 'cause I was planning to have some photos taken with my classmates and some stuff I wanna take around Intramuros.

Intramuros(YEAHHH got to take off the annoying 404 error :P), by the way, is a very interesting place! Its literal meaning means 'within the walls' and it was like the forbidden city in China except that it was more like a military fortress. The walls are still there, and they look pretty old :S So are the cannons! Sorry, I didn't get to take photos of the cannons :S But I did take a, note 'a', photo in the walls where this bunch of head sculptures were. Didn't get to read 'em since I was late for class (I didn't know there weren't any classes yet). Plus I was alone :S

Um, then after that I went straight to school. Upon arrival at the front gate, the security guard told me there aren't any classes today. And what ticked me off after that was when he pointed out to a big notification on the wall saying there weren't any classes. Hahahaha! How did I not see that? :S Oh well.
After that I didn't waste any time going back home. Sigh.
Oh and I took this random photo just 'cause I thought it looked pretty when I saw it. :D

This is the Post Office and the area called Lawton. :D

aree yewwww a poreignerrrr?

Huhu. First and foremost I'd like to apologise for not updating for like a weekk! Seriously, I am not getting lazy 'cos I'd blog everyday if I could! It's just that these past few days have been pretty hectic. Well busy in a sense. I'll tell you why:

I have school on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. On Mondays I'll be at school til 4.30PM and on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I'll be at school til 7PM (on Tuesdays), 6PM (on Thursdays). Then on Saturday and Sunday I'll be dismissed at 12PM. And I mentioned it here, you'll know that I wake up at 4.30AM on those days since it's an hour drive to Manila from Laguna and include the heavy traffic you encounter if you leave any later than 6.30AM. I'd love to wake up at 5.30 but I'll be late for classes since I start at 7.30AM on the days I have school. :S AND since you know now that it takes 1 hour to get to Manila and vice versa, you can calculate the time I reach home on those days :D I only get to go online when I've no more assignments or if I really miss Theos :D:D:D:D.

Nothing much to mention on the classes except for my new schedules on Tuesdays and Thursday. I was transferred from my Filipino class at 1.30-3.ooPM to a Filipino class for Foreign students. :D Which is kinda like Good Morning - Magandang Umaga. HAHA. Oh well at least I have a break of about 4 hours and a half on Tuesdays and Thursdays.. BUT I'm thinking of filling up those slots by taking English, which is a course I'm supposed to take next term. So, it's like advancing my courses so I can finish earlier and have a less busy schedule the next term.

OH ANYWAYS. About my foreign class. I am known by the professor as the Filipino who can't speak Filipino well. Ironic huh. I don't know. Hahaha. But anyways, I entered my first class last Tuesday and noticed I was the only Filipino. HAHHA. The rest were 4 Koreans, 3 Iranians and 4 Chinese. So, I made a new friend named uhmm I really don't know the spelling but it sounded like Teh Gur so I'll just call him Tiger here. HAHA. He's a korean.. a pretty cool guy. I asked him and his friend to teach me some Korean so we can have our own koreanovela going on in class MUAHAHAHA. "KREEE!!!" HAHAHAH. Oh and Tiger is in front of me and he's pretty tall. but he's only my age! Haha. And on my right is uhm Christine I think. She's Korean too. The whole class was just learning about translations of common Filipino sentences so I was pretty bored but hey... EASY GRADES! HAHA.

So today I'll be having my super basic Filipino class in about 50 minutes from now. Everyone's about my age except 2 Iranians who are siblings. A guy and a girl. They're old though. 22 I think. the rest are all 18. I dont know why I feel younger HAHAHA. Must be the height difference :D:D

There was one time where I spoke English to the Chinese dude and he just kept nodding, smiling or shaking his head everytime i asked a question.. I felt stupid instead talking to him. BUT progress will come when we become better friends i guesssss.

There's currently a typhoon here in the Philippines called Helen. And she's been a bitch alright. The other day I used my brand new umbrella for the first time and after just walking a few steps, the wind blew it upside down so the metal bracings all bent and couldn't come back to position! DAMN! HAHA. Funny how I had to hold it on top of my head with my hands. I ended up getting wet on arrival at the Mall. Luckily it's so near my school. I was soooooo pissed off with the umbrella that after entering the mall I quickly walked to the nearest trash can, waited for a group of girls to pass by so they won't see me doing what I was about to do and threwwwww my umbrella while cursing it. So TODAY, I bought a more expensive, branded and steel-framed mini-umbrella with a warranty card! MUAHAHAHA. Try and get me now, Helen. Actually don't. :S..

Anyways, I'm off to class now! That's it for this weeek! The only thing bugging me now is the weather alright. Strong winds and it rains almost everyday and at the most unconventional times. Luckily the places I have to walk through haven't been flooded. OHHHHH AND you should know that Espana where UST is where Neil is has already been flooded. SO hopefully Neil had to walk through the waters of the streeeets :D:D:D:D:D The waters, btw, are knee-high deep. Or more! :D

Tataaaa! I love you baby ko. ^^

EDIT: The guy's name is Tae Geun! :D

11th Post

Fuck sia. I am so ticked off today because i dont get some stuff in the morning, so im curious and am not getting any answers even after asking twice, and i always clearly ask them! now i cant ask cos phone's not with me. eeeeeeeeeeeee :( :( GOD. AND THE FUCKING JOURNEYS TO AND FRO IS TIRING. goddammit i am exposed to so much pollution by the time im on the bus on the way home, my head is throbbing with pain. omfgggggggg. yes i still am feeling nice that i am making my way around the capital alone.

AND FUCK THIS STUPID CD-R KING KEYBOARDS! cd-r king is a fucking shop here in the philippines selling computer hardware especially and this stupid keyboards where the space bar is fucking broken that i have to press so hard to put a space in between these words! FUCK.

I am so iritated at the moment that anything that always used to annoy me can now tick me off in a second. like the keyboards i have always been patient with.

Goddamnit!!!! i almost fucking broke down IN A FUCKING CAFE cos of how this day is going. Oh my fuckinnngggggggggggggg heist. FUCK. and you thought hanah had bad pms! GAWH.

what am i doing in a cafe where i had to walk through a dark lonely road? COS I WANNA GET ONLINE SINCE THE STUPID BROADBAND AT HOME IS BROKEN. JEEZUS. and ive been looking for Mapua Music Society so i can efing apply (AHH STUPID SPACEBAR) but all i see infront of me is a locker and the sign saying 'MAPUA MUSIC SOCIETY NOW OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS'. LIKE I FUCKING NOE WHERE THE REGISTRATION IS.

anyways, days in the university has been okay. at least some of my stress go out in the form of laughters with Bob (who I call Bob Kelso cos i love Scrubs) and the rest of the guys. Im lucky i sit next to bob when certain professors arrange us according to student number. and on my right is this girl named uhmmm.. *tries to remember* uhmm... Jaara.. or Gaara.. but the G (if its gaara) is pronounced as a J. She's annoying. but its okay. me and bob annoy her more by calling her Jahrakaal the troll warlord ROFL. after classes i hang around with the guys. which is good.

walking around mapua, i kinda am getting the pride of being in the institute. well now im only interested in getting a scholarship and joining the music society. the difference in how i used to be back in highschool is that now i hangout more with guys. cos its more fun foolin around in campus. and no im not gay. right babe? :) after i find MMS, i am hoping to shine with my skills and hopefully get better in music. am searching for a school now. theres this event soon called 'sessionistas' which is like a inter-college BOTB and your band gets to jam with celebrity bands. Hope marvin's band gets in.

anyways i dont have the pictures here so ill post the post of my first day when i get to bring my stuff to the cafe. i feel so warm and my nose is blocked. that is also why i am pretty irritable tonight. AHH.

First Day Funk!

Okay beforee I continue I shall warn you that the camera on my phone is very very sucky so the quality here is very bad. I miss the phone I lost. :( HAIH. ANYWAYS. Here are pictures of my first day as a university student. I bought along my sony phone which I know was alot of risk but hey.. you guys need pictures! :D:D WOOTS!

So I woke up at 4.30am (and it's gonna be that way till I get a closer place.), and arrived at the bus terminal with all the buses going to Manila were.

Here's the uhhh Target Mall opposite the terminal. The terminal is kinda like the terminal there in Brunei just add one person standing with a megaphone announcing all the buses that are available and are ready to leave. Ugh.. noisy lah. Haha.

There's the Jollibee which was already open at 5.30am.. And that's a picture of a bus waiting and is already almost full.

So those pictures, obviously, are blurred cos the bus was moving and I had bad angles since I had to shoot and hide my phone at the same time :D HAHAHAHA. SO yeah from there I was on the road for 35+ kilometres. Arrived at Manila at 6.33am (yes, I remember so I can talk about it here :D) and I took a photo of a University along the way where Kaycee and Danver (two childhood friends in Brunei) study at-

La Salle University at Taft! Its bigger than that and there's a building, which is a part of it, behind it which is twice the height.

After a few minutes of riding the bus I arrived at the area called Lawton. And had to walk under the road through an underpass to get to the other side and from there I walked and walked til I reached Intramuros' front gate.

As you can see, there are people going in and most of them are students from Manila High School which is on the right after you go in. And students from Lyceum and Mapua! here's a photo after going in, McDonalds! That's where I usually will be eating at lunch and also the place where my classmates wait before going in school.

And after just a few more walking I reached Mapua! Here you see the school's main building and the front gate where cars go in and a security guard. :)

And I hung out outside a little bit more to take the picture of the name beside the gate. All the people there are going in Mapua or just waiting for a friend.

Went in and waited for a friend, Maria cos she wanted to give me some stuff. Then I rushed to class since I was 30 minutes late! Hahaha. i went in and what happened after that doesn't really matter. We were just arranged to groups so here's a picture after we got arranged. This is the lab for our chemistry lab period!

Yellow shirt there is Bob. And I didn't know anyone else besides him anyways. After class we had a Frosh Orientation but I still went around and took photos. In front of the main building is the sculpture of the founder and the booths which weren't that much yet since they were still getting ready. There's a Tekken booth and uhm some more booths made my the different student organisations.

Don Tomas Mapua

Student booths! There you see the Sun Celluar booth. I think it's there cos Sun has a special sim card made for Mapuans. So after I walked around I went back to the Gym cos that was where the orientation was. lotsa freshmen this year.

Wanted to take a photo of the Welcome Frosh banner there. I like the design of it.

Oh and after we were all seated and sang the national anthem (which I didn't sing since I don't know the lyrcis of it) with the help of the Mapua Concert Singers. Then a few speeches by the deans and in came a presentation by the Mapua Cheerleading Squad! haha. Didn't know they won a few good titles like a competition in Japan! And cool thing was I took a photo while one cheerleader was in the air. Looks like mosquito here hehe!

After a few more introductions to the different student bodies, etc., the orientation ended with a presentation by the Mapua Concert Singers. i liked the harmonising!

After the orientation I took pictures of the booths in another part of the school.

some fiesta-like thingy. i liked the beats!

Oh oh! there was a Toys R Us booth and guess what they were selling? RUBIK'S CUBES! I bought one! hahaha costed about $7.50. and there you could challenge someone with how fast you can solve the cube.

Rubik's Cubes!

after that I made my way out and took photos of what you would see if you came in through the front and the cool Cardinal Plus system. Our school IDs are fitted with a microchip which contains our data so its kinda like our credit cards here in school cos we can use it for different transactions AND most importantly to identify ourselves as students by holding it over a sensor at the entrance. Then, your name, student no., picture and course will be displayed on the screen for the guard to see so he'll let you in. :D

This is what you see when you go in.

And the security booth:

After I got out I went to SM Manila where I ate and waited at McDonald's there. Was waiting for Mariaaaa!

Don't say Pacqiao hahaha.

Oh and then I met up with Mar and her boyfriend. We were gonna watch Hancock so we bought some food and drinks at the grocery (yes, you dont have to buy from the movie store like in Brunei WOO) since they were cheaper. Oh, and they had lanes you have to follow like if you're using a basket or a cart. I just found it interesting to imagine a chain of carts if the supermarket was busy haha.

I couldn't take pictures of the huge cinema so yeahh =/ they take it really seriously here hahahaha. :D Anyways, to cut things short, after the movie we parted ways and I went to the LRT and to the bus terminal and rode on the next bus leaving for Laguna. On the bus I took photos of the LRT station I come down from and the highway on the way to Laguna. I think it was in the middle of the journey.

So after about one hour, I reached the Walter Mart at Santa Rosa, Laguna! and from there it was a 3 minute tricycle ride back to my place! :D

SO. i finally finished this post! AHHH so sorry for the really late post. Ive been so busy trying to sharpen my dulled brain hahahaha. :D

And here's the cube i bought! :D

School baby!

Lrt by Eesti on Flickr

Schoool starts on Monday and I might take photos of my first day and places I visit around Manila. Still a small area but hey, the mall there is enough haha. Oh, yeahh I'm excited about next week too 'cause I'll be meeting up friends from Brunei who I practically grew up with, namely Kayz and Danver! They're at La Salle Manila so I pass by it everyday on the LRT. School will be a bit tiring, man. But I've no school on Wednesdays AND Fridays. :D

I miss Theos :( Hope you're alright :) Saw these nice shoes at the mall! :D MUAHAHA.

Oh and on the other hand, I watched Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last night. The Spice Girls were there and sang 'Stop'. They still sound as awesommee! HAHA. OH OH OH AND. The best thing was Neil Patrick Harris was there HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Horny bastard! HAHA. Heidi Klum was wearing all the special lingeries like-

this BUT my favourite model there was-

Miranda Kerr! Dimples and a girl-next-door look! :D WOOO!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. She said, 'You can hang me on your Christmas tree ;) *supermodel giggle*' HAHA. Awesommmme.
T'was a good show. Can't believe I missed this last year. It's actually the November 07 show.

Anyhoos, nothing else compares to-

HAHA. I was tickling her armpit HAHAHAHAHHA. :D:D She's still the best! :) I love you. (A)
